descendent

a gasp of air, I crave for a gasp of air to blow into my clarinet with my hands on snare, complete with my keyboard I’m a one man band, the one and only edition I’m a one man brand, they say no man can, so a woman won’t, sexism drives them to act so that I can’t float, alienism drives them to act so that I can’t gloat, but racism seemed to fail because I can vote, Peace and Blessings to the individual, in which peace of mind isn’t attainable, some things are unchangeable, The basic facts of reality, have to stay on top have to fix my chi, the difference between you and me, you grieve for what is yours, I fight for what is mine, I’m the soldier without fear, and I can never just resign, I’m the memory that lives from the past that no one seems to can forget, I’m the descendent of my ancestors and I’m not finished yet.

To be sure, an ordinary passerby would think that my rose looked just like you--the rose that belongs to me. But in herself alone she is more important than all the hundreds of you other roses: because it is she that I have watered.
